Is There a Weight Limit for the Dame Pillo?
The Dame Pillo doesn't have a weight limit, and you can't "break" it through sheer weight. However, the more weight that's applied to the Pillo by Dame, the more the foam will compress. In addition, the Dame Pillo's width is only 18" across - which might feel a bit lacking for people with curvier frames.
Instead, we'd recommend the Liberator Plus Size Wedge. It has a larger design (with more surface area) to reduce the compression of high-density foam, and it also has a width of 30"; it's all about being supportive everywhere you need it. The Liberator Plus Size Wedge was even especially crafted to support over 300 pounds with minimal compression - and it's a favorite of our curvier lovers.
If you'd like something in-between, the non-plus Liberator Wedge is a great middle ground. It has a width of 24" for a bit more surface area while still retaining some of the compact functionality of a smaller shape like the Dame Pillo.
How to Clean the Pillo Pillow?
The Dame Products Pillo is essentially made up of three parts: the foam insert, the inner liner, and the outer liner.
The foam insert is what gives the shape its "shape". It's high-density foam that resists compression - but still offers a soft, plushy surface for your body to rest on.
Protecting the foam insert is the Inner Liner. This inner liner helps protect the foam insert from any moisture or liquid damage - or even just bodily fluids. You know, it's there to protect the foam from all of the things that likely will be happening right on top of it.
Finally, the outermost layer is the Outer Liner which is the pretty-colored fabric that you can see. This Liner is there to be soft and sensual on the skin - and offer an easy-to-clean solution so that the Dame Products Pillo always feels brand new every time you pull it out.
The Outer Liner and Inner liner are machine washable for simple cleaning. The foam insert should not be exposed to any water or cleanser.
