This is, by far, my favorite paddle in my entire toybox. It gets pulled out almost every time we do a spanking because of its two-sided design. The faux fur design is really, really soft, and since it's connected to a rigid leather side on the other side, it doesn't bend or give under pressure. It leads to a nice, heavy "thunk" with each faux fur strike that doesn't really hurt - but can bring blood flow to the area for a lot of pleasure and warming the body up.
The leather side definitely has a kick to it, but you can vary how intense it is by how you use it. Lighter hits tend to feel slightly stingy, but really heavy hits can definitely leave bruises if that's what you're into.
I absolutely love this paddle and would rebuy in an instant if something happened to it. My only minor complaint is that the faux fur side can be a bit hard to clean if lube or other fluids get on it.
